Decision Loop ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the Decision Loop mobile application and related website (the "Service").

2.1 Information You Provide
Depending on your use, the Service may process:
- Decision and review content (titles, categories, confidence, expected outcomes, notes, framework scores, review outcomes, and timestamps).
- App profile/settings information you choose to enter (for example name, weekly goals, categories, preferences).
- Backup/export data you explicitly choose to generate.
2.2 Subscription Information
If you purchase Pro access, subscription status and entitlement information is processed through Apple App Store and related subscription infrastructure used by the Service.
2.3 Technical and Event Data
The app may record product event logs (for example decision flow events, paywall events, review events) to support reliability and product improvement. At this time, these event logs are queued locally on your device.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide and operate app features.
- Enable reminders and scheduled notifications (if you grant permission).
- Manage free/pro feature access and purchase restoration.
- Improve quality, reliability, and user experience.
- Provide support and respond to user requests.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
4. Data Storage
Core app data is designed to be stored locally on your device. We do not require account-based cloud sync for core decision content. If you export data, that data can leave the app depending on where you choose to save/share it.
5. Notifications
If you grant notification permission, the app may schedule local notifications such as review reminders, streak-risk reminders, weekly digest reminders, backup reminders, and smart nudges. You can disable these at any time in app settings or device settings.
6. Third-Party Services
We may use limited third-party services required to operate the Service, including:
- Apple (app distribution, in-app purchases, and related platform services).
- Subscription/entitlement infrastructure used for paid access management.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
7. Payments
Payments are processed by Apple App Store. We do not receive or store full payment card details.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Data stored locally remains until you delete it, clear app data, or uninstall the app. You can use in-app controls such as "Clear All Data" where available.
9. Security
We use reasonable safeguards. However, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure. You are responsible for protecting exported files and any passphrases you use.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
11. International Processing
Depending on your location and third-party provider infrastructure, limited processing may occur in jurisdictions other than your own, where legally permitted.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "Last Updated" date when changes are made. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
